As the Bible teaches us, there is a time and place for everything in life. There is a beginning and an end in every aspect of our life, whether we like it or not. At times, the end is abrupt and that is hurtful. Sometimes, the end is long drawn, and it can be pleasant, or it can end up hurtful. In other cases, whatever we were enjoying ends up too short, but it will be well cherished in the long run, and we remember those events very dearly in our hearts.
Either way, nothing lasts forever. Human life and animal life are all so temporary on earth. Some wish for long life, some wish for death. But none wishes for hate, shame, betrayal, abandonment, humiliation and sorrows in their life. We all wish for love, joy and peace in our lives and in the lives of those around us. When G-D is merciful, all that we desire is granted to us by His magnanimous goodwill toward us. Sometimes, it’s not.
Death is knocking on someone’s door each day, every day, somewhere on earth. We just don’t see it or think about it. But G-D the FATHER gives us all a time to seek Him while we are still alive, to have a chance to know Him, to love Him, to serve Him, to obey Him, to trust Him, and to spend time with Him, before going to be with Him in Heaven forever.
When we don’t do these things with/for G-D MOST HIGH here on earth, then there is very little for us to have in Heaven as our reward (treasure), for being a true Christian disciple of JESUS – a life that was meant to be lived loving and being pleasing to G-D our FATHER. Many Christians have chosen to forgo their rewards in Heaven, because they valued a life of pleasure and leisure here on earth, more than living for G-D, as G-D commands us.
Ultimately, every man (and woman) is responsible for his/her own soul and no one else is. What they choose to do with it is up to them – whether they live in fear of G-D and obey Him, love Him, serve Him all the days of their lives, and do as the Bible teaches them to do, as the SPIRIT of G-D leads them to do, or, they choose to live in their own ways, their own sinful paths and that lead them astray from G-D. They decide to do whatever makes them happy instead of obeying G-Ds laws, which is what selfishness is. And selfishness is sin, the Bible teaches us (SEE Philippians 2:3,4; Luke 6:31; Matthew 22:36-39). If man lives a life of sinful pleasures, at the end of their life, their sins will catch up with them. In a moment, their breath comes to a stop and they are sentenced to life eternal:
- either to be in the presence of G-D MOST HIGH forever,
OR
One way or another, their life on earth came to an end. This is G-Ds just judgement for/on all mankind: death. For the wages of sin is death, the Bible teaches us (SEE Romans 6:23).
Either:
- G-D the FATHER spared the sinner from living a life of further self-destruction and corruption and didn’t want them to go any further away from Him. Not any further than they already had and then He wouldn’t be able to allow them to enter Heaven anymore, because of how much they were multiplying their sins against G-D daily, greatly (Scenario 1: living in stubborn sin).
- Or they got what had them coming for a long time, for their wickedness finally caught up with them and G-D brought His justice down on them, for their sins against Him and against all those they hurt while they lived on earth were piled high to the sky and it made a stink in G-Ds nostrils – SEE Revelation 18:5, (Scenario 2: unrepentant).
- Or a person had repented of their sins and G-D didn’t see a future for them here on earth, living sin free as the Bible teaches them to live. For G-D knows the rest of their life, and they would sooner or later backslide and go back to their old sinful ways again. And if they backslid, they would return to their sinful lives again, and their future sins would have been greater than their former sins (SEE Luke 11:24-26), and then, they would not be able to enter Heaven under any circumstances (Scenario 3: repentant).
So, again, in Scenario 3, G-D in His great love and mercy, spared them a life of eternal life in fiery hell by cutting their life short, so that they don’t miss out on a chance of life eternal in Heaven with G-D MOST HIGH. G-D did not allow them to ever go away from His ways ever again. This is how much G-D loved them, and He wouldn’t want Heaven without them. And so, He would rather put them to death sooner and stop them from sinning more and more against G-D and His laws, than allow them to spend eternity in hell, by letting them live longer. This is how great G-Ds love is for the people He truly loves – a love so deep and unimaginable, unfathomable.
These are usually the three major scenarios why death comes upon someone unexpectedly.
If a person living in sin died from Scenario 3 (repentant) or Scenario 1 (living in stubborn sin), the moment death stopped them in their ways, they will stand before the Throne of G-D MOST HIGH. They would have nothing to show for their life on earth before G-D, because they lived a life where they loved themselves more than they loved G-D and those around them.
Only, G-D has spared them eternal life in hell because He was merciful to them and didn’t allow them to perish in their sins, because He loved them to the extent of sparing them banishment from eternal damnation. All their good works got burnt up in G-Ds fire, and nothing was left except their own salvation (SEE 1 Corinthians 13:12-15).
When people’s freedom, power, goes unchecked, they end up losing control of their own life and they will end up becoming crazy in their own world. And in the utopian world they created for themselves, they will go mad in it. This is because their freedom to live in sin, away from the ways of the L-RD MOST HIGH, will destroy them and they will be no more. This is to fulfill what says, and G-Ds Word are ever true: Pride goes before destruction (SEE Proverbs 16:18).
At the end of their life, it will be too late to save them, because they’ve lost contact with the good world they once knew, and they are now isolated and away from everyone that ever loved them and cared for them deeply. And now, there is no one to help them. And they will meet their end as they face that reality, that what they once thought was a “smart” move on their part, to live as the prodigal son, didn’t turn out as expected. This time, they have taken it too far. There is no “father” to run back to, but all they can do is stare into the reality of their foolishness, in darkness they have isolated themselves into, and then, they will meet their Maker.
There is no recourse for them to go back to a normal life again. They have gone past the point of no return. For such a person as that, if we loved anyone like that, let our prayer be for them: G-D have mercy on their soul and give them another chance to repent and turn to CHRIST before their final breath on earth. Because, after that, there is only eternal life in hell, if they failed to repent before their death. For their sins were despicable and shameful in G-Ds sight. And He couldn’t tolerate their lewdness, pride, arrogance, cruelty, wickedness, bitterness, foolishness, stubbornness, anger, hatred, deceitfulness and utterly shameful behavior anymore. They dishonored and disrespected G-D and His laws and for that, they will suffer the consequences of their sins.
We can only forgive those who sin against us and then pray for them. We must forgive other’s who’ve wronged us, in whatever manner, for G-D our FATHER forgives us every day of all our sins we commit against Him and His Words in the Bible (SEE Luke 11:4). It is also very necessary that we pray for such a person living as such, that G-D will open their spiritual eyes one last time, to see their sins before their Maker, before their death (SEE Matthew 5:43-46). That, as they close their eyes in death, they will repent one last time, to wake up in Heaven. And not far, far away, eternally separated from JESUS and all that He has prepared for us in Heaven.
Let the words “Mene, Mene, Tekel” reverberate in their lives, as their lives draw near to an end, as they live in their sinful, wicked ways, and may they remember the Words of the L-RD JESUS, to repent and be saved from their sins, that they may not perish into everlasting fire and darkness, where torment of the soul never ceases.
When their soul departs to be in the presence of the L-RD, if they had repented, at the end of tunnel of their madness, they will be with JESUS. If not, they wasted even the very last opportunity G-D granted them to repent and humble themselves and seek G-Ds face, because of their pride, arrogance, selfishness and self-delusion. May this never be for those living in utter contempt to G-Ds ways, G-Ds laws, G-Ds commandments.
Sadly, this is the grim reality of those who live life to the extreme and think there are no consequences to sin.
There are serious consequences to living in sin.
Abundant consequences!
Many have come to the end of their road in life, at a time of living in their pure solitude within the false sanctuary they thought is paradise to them, a castle they built for themselves with lies, deception and stolen money (stolen inheritance, ill-gotten gains).
In the end, it is not a pleasant solitude, as they thought it would have turn out. They never expected G-D would cut them off. They underestimated G-Ds power. They underestimated G-Ds love for those whom they’ve hurt. They underestimated G-Ds plan of vengeance and revenge upon their life.
If you know anyone living in sin as such, pray for them that they may repent to JESUS and not live in sin anymore, for the rest of their life. Pray that they will not hurt others anymore or hurt themselves anymore as such, because it is only making them sin more and more in the sight of G-D the FATHER.
